Baton Board

Build Your Own Personal KPI Dashboard

Big-company dashboards are built for big-company problems. As an individual — a founder, a creator, a freelancer — you don't need a data warehouse. You need to see your handful of numbers, every day, without logging into five tools.

Baton Board's KPI widget turns any metric into a clean, tracked number on your own board: revenue, MRR, subscribers, followers, words written, anything. It's a personal KPI dashboard that lives on your deviceno account, no cloud.

What the KPI widget tracks

Connect a source, or track it by hand

Several KPIs, side by side

Put two KPIs next to each other — revenue and ad spend, subscribers and views — and read them together. Add a goal widget for the target, a habit widget for the daily input that drives the number, and a task widget for the work. The whole loop — input, work, and outcome — sits on one board.

See the structure, not just the numbers

When you track more than a couple of metrics, the KPI Tree widget shows how they relate: your north-star number at the top, broken into the drivers that feed it, drawn as a tree with connecting lines. Give a node a target and it shows an achievement-rate badge; connect it to a KPI feed and the values fill in automatically. Drag nodes to restructure as your model of the business evolves.

Frequently asked questions

Can I build a personal KPI dashboard with Baton Board?

Yes. The KPI widget tracks any metric with a history graph, period zoom, min/max/current labels, change indicators, and an optional goal line — and you can place several KPIs on one board.

Can it pull numbers from Stripe, YouTube, or GitHub automatically?

In the browser, direct API calls to most platforms are blocked (CORS), so the reliable paths are manual dated entry or a KPI feed: publish a small JSON file — a script or CI job can generate it from sources like Stripe, YouTube, or GitHub — and widgets with a matching feed key update automatically. Any keys you store are read-only and stay on your device.

Can I set a target on a KPI?

Yes. Link a goal to a KPI and its target appears as a line on the chart, with an achievement percentage and a warning if you're behind.

Where is my KPI data stored?

On your device — in your browser — never on our servers. Exports strip out any API keys.

Is the KPI widget free?

The KPI widget is part of the Pro analytics set. The free plan includes one board with the seven free widgets, export/import, backups, search, and eight languages.
